Let's taking an intriguing journey in Medieval Romagna, from the stronghold of Castrocaro to the fortress in Dozza. In Castrocaro (Province of Forlì), we can see the evocative fortress, one of the largest Medieval castles in Italy. Here, the past is kept alive via fascinating re-enactments and falconry displays. In the Province of Bologna, rather, we find Dozza, a splendid Medieval borgo characterized by sides both modern - with its unique contemporary art display of house facades painted by local artists - and ancient, given its impressive Rocca, or fortress.
